2015 was a fantastic year for the Xbox One, as over 200 new features were introduced to the console and over 350 games were released for it, as well. Xbox Live is also growing bigger and bigger with each passing year, as Microsoft revealed that, “On Dec. 28 there were more gamers using Xbox Live than any other day in Xbox history, and the number of hours spent gaming on Xbox One and Xbox 360 during Christmas week 2015 were up compared to last year. Thanks to you, Xbox One continues to outpace Xbox 360 at the same point in time in the Xbox 360 generation, making it the best-selling console in Xbox console history.”
In terms of what Microsoft will be offering this year with the Xbox One and/or Windows 10, the following games are Microsoft exclusive and will be releasing this year: Quantum Break, Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, Fable Legends, ReCore, Sea of Thieves, Gigantic, Killer Instinct: Season 3, Gears of War Ultimate Edition PC, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition and Cobalt. Platinum Games’ Scalebound was originally set to launch exclusively for the Xbox One this year, though a delay into 2017 was just announced by the developer. Regardless of the delay, if all of the aforementioned games meet their 2016 release date then it will be another incredible year for the Xbox One.
