Why does he have to make a game he only said he doesnt like most of them. Which is true cod has gone downhill, halo is becoming shit, fifa is just a money scam and many other games are starting to follow suit. People rate there will be a video game boycott soon so people start protesting that the games are getting to expensive and that we are not getting what is promised to us when we buy them. (Look up about the lost e.t game that got buried)

People say that they pirate games to try them out yet you're able to refund games on steam within a certain amount of time if you don't like them. The people that pirate singleplayer games aren't going to spend $60 on the game because theres no point.

A huge mistake. It will be cracked eventually, so let's just drop DRM entirely. CD Projekt RED who made Witcher found that their sales and fan base grew exponentially when they dropped DRM entirely. People will pirate it no matter what. It will get cracked, in a week, a month, a year, it is inevitable. If people torrent it and really like your game chances are they will buy it. I torrented Witcher 2 and loved it. I bought Witcher 1-2 and when I heard about 3 hopped right into a pre-order. DRM is for companies that mass produce yearly piles of crap that are scared people won't buy their crap games if they can pirate it to test it out before tossing away $60. People cannot toss so many $60 price tags each year without knowing if the game they bought is A: Good B: Functional C: Worth $60 and not $45 or $30. Like Rainbow Six siege is a $30 game honestly. I love it, but some big server issues, some hackers, and no story mode. DRM and big gaming publishers are killing the industry. People are so obsessed with a profit motive that the games produced end up being miles short of the ambition they preached. We need reliability and trust back in our industry.

I don't pirate many games anyway, but maybe that's why I don't play many games either lol.
