Xbox One party chat and online gaming hit by outage issues

4.3
The Microsoft Xbox support page has been updated to reveal the problems currently affecting Xbox One and Xbox on Windows.

"Hey Xbox members, are you having trouble creating or joining your multiplayer sessions? We are aware of this issue and are working to get it fixed right away!" the official Microsoft message reads.

"Thank you for your patience while we work. We’ll post another update when more information becomes available."

Current Xbox One social and gaming issues:
In-game matchmaking
Cloud storage,
Finding friends
Game DVR,
Leaderboards
Avatar editing
Pictures

The outage started at around 7pm UK time and has meant many players have been unable to chat with friends while playing online.

The current error message being displayed while trying to use party function "801901f7" occurs when you try to renew your Xbox Live Gold subscription, according to the official Microsoft website.

The related help article is connected to changing your billing address and subscription details, rendering it useless for those currently affected.

The most annoying problem I'm having is when it says my network settings are blocking party chat.

Robbed I haven't had any issues, but i'm from the UK, and in the UK we rarely have any problems with XBL.
