Sony Introduces Alternate Payment Method For PSN

In a press release sent to GamingBolt, Paysafe, a online payment has announced that it has partnered with Sony to provide PSN users with an alternate payment system via paysafe. The service will launch in 19 different countries including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. More countries are planned to be added to the system.

Udo Müller, CEO of paysafecard, said the following in regards to their partnership with Sony: “Partnering with the giants of the digital world is one of our primary goals, which is why I am so pleased by this development. It also serves as recognition of our vision and of our product as a secure and convenient payment method and will make it possible for millions of customers to pay with paysafecard.”

A release date for this feature has not been announced yet but we will keep you updated when it happens.

Never even heard of that, Don't have a playstation anyway so doesn't effect me.

Azairo I don't think I have every heard of Paysafe... I am honestly surprised consoles haven't tried adopting bitcoin as a payment method yet.


Bitcoin prices go up and down so it would be a risk taking it imo.
