Is the Banshee 900R now the fastest car in GTA Online?

The Banshee 900R, one of GTA Online’s recently added cars, has apparently received a slight speed buff.

The January update for GTA Online brought two new cars to the game. The the Karin Sultan and the Bravado Banshee.

Rockstar promised that an upgraded Banshee will be as fast as a Zentorno or a T20. However, the community later realised this was not the case. It seems Rockstar corrected this issue, without actually tweaking game code.

That’s according to YouTuber Broughy1322, who’s tested the Banshee recently and found that it’s faster in a straight line. In fact, it’s now the game’s fastest car in a straight line.

Good to know, now i can sell the T20 and keep the banshee

I'm loving it, such a wicket little car. It's not by any means the ultimate race car, put the car on a drag strip and it shows it's worthy. Place the car on a circuit, the car begins to show it's true colours. Non the less, it's a great addition.

Certainly the best for drag racing but In no way is it the best for general racing, entirely depends what kind of race youre doing because youll certainly win against the Banshee if theres a lot of corners.

THQ Banshee and the Comet has always been my favorites in GTA


I still like driving the Comet better. But, that Banshee is an awesome car to say the least!
