Wireless earphones will most likely not be included with next iPhone

4.6
There have been a lot of rumors about Apple reportedly nixing the headphone jack on its next high-end iPhone, and many have also speculated that Apple would include a set of wireless earphones with the device to accommodate the change. Although that might happen some day, it looks like Apple will not be including this wireless set in the next iteration, but will instead opt for a proprietary wired set that will connect via the Lightning port.

According to Business Insider, Apple will probably not include a pair of wireless headphones with its next top-tier iPhone. This tidbit of information comes courtesy of Barclays analysts, who stated that Apple will most likely not include wireless headphones until 2017, when the 'iPhone 7s' is expected to be unveiled.

If Apple sticks to tradition, we won't be seeing the iPhone without a headphone jack until later in the year, but Apple will reportedly launch a new iPhone handset next month, the '5se', that will be a lower-end offering.

Meadow I hope they don't even bring Wireless earphones. I hate wireless earphones

I am hoping the same thing as well. But, Apple tends to make some pretty okay earbuds, so who knows. They could make it work.

I already have some beats, I don't need no wireless headphones. But I'll still more than likely buy the next iPhone though..:

Either way I will still be getting the next iPhone.

As iJustine said in her recent iPhone 7 video, "headphones are a good visual indicator that I am in 'do not disturb' mode" (paraphrased). I agree with this completely, and that is perhaps one of the most practical uses for wired headphones. If someone can't see my headphones then its gunna be a bunch of yelling and shoulder-tapping, as well as hurt feelings from me "ignoring" people. ALSO, the iPhone 4 had two speakers on the bottom and I feel like one never worked. PLEASE just keep things the way they are...

I hope they don't get added in the next device! i'm not very happy with the battery life right now let alone with another Bluetooth add on using it up

Why do they have to release so many new things so quickly. I am still on the Iphone 5c and that still feels new to me haha.

Ive never really been a phone guy though tbh.

So how are you meant to charge your phone while using the headphones? A splitter from Apple that will cost £50?
