Rumour – Activision working on subscription model for Black Ops multiplayer

Activision is working on a subscription model for the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops, according to an MCV report.The report states an announcement will come next month, most likely coinciding with the full multiplayer reveal of the game on September 1 in LA.That’s despite Treyarch community boss Josh Olin debunking any speculation of a subscription model for its multiplayer last month alongside comms boss for Infinity Ward, Rob Bowling.

what they are meaning probably is the way ufc 2010 is set up it gives you a online code when you first purchase it that code can only be used in one hard drive you wont be able to take ur game to ur friends house unless you bring your harddrive with you if you were to just take the game then theirs a five dollar fee like in ufc 2010

If this goes through it will crash the CoD Franchise,and this means there poor and need money because your pathetic if you charge to play a game online and your paying to play online for xbox360 users but I think they should go through with this ONLY on the PS3.

Im down for modding and stuff but if people with jtags go 10th prestige in the first week of release the game will be ruined and pointless after. And a subscription extra on top of XBL to play would be retarded.
