Dark themes may be coming in Windows 10 Anniversary Update

4.5
If you followed Microsoft's developer conference Build 2016 closely or even today's Edge Web Summit, you might have heard casual mentions of a dark theme in Windows 10. A new report from Thurrott.com says that yes, the option for a dark theme is coming to Windows 10 for PCs.

The new feature will be available in the upcoming Anniversary Update - formerly known as Redstone - coming this Summer.

Users will be able to enable the feature via a 'dark theme' toggle in Settings. Anything that is not set by your personalization color would be turned dark, such as the background in the Store and Settings apps (see above picture).

This is a feature that Windows phones have had for years. It has existed since the Windows Phone 7 days.

Would be nice, I find light themes in OS to be a bit too bright for me to deal with when spending a long time in front of the computer so i tend to have to lower the screen brightness, this should help though. Plus dark themes always look Dank asf.

dark theme is already in windows 10 you just need to regedit/make a new thing and have either 1 or 0 and it turns it black but if this is a true feature no more need to regedit dark theme
