Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered Cannot be Purchased Separately

If you're excited to play the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in its remastered state, you need to prepare to also buy the futuristic new Infinite Warfare.

According to Activision's FAQ for Modern Warfare Remastered, the game will be available as a digital download only to customers who purchase a qualifying version of its upcoming, Infinity Ward developed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The qualifying versions are the "Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe" SKUs of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download," and won't be available as a separate, physical release.

"You must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," the FAQ also states.

Gifs Would they stop with these futuristic shit CODS and just remaster the good ones or make a newer good COD with older COD characteristics. The jumping boosting bull shit sucks.


Eh, there's only so much they can do. They've done WW2 many times, they've done modern, so the only real option is to go to the future, unless you want a Civil War game where the only weapon is a musket.

They aren't. You don't have to buy the game, but at the same time you don't get the remaster. You know nothing about the game, except for what the trailer shows. There is not enough to judge and say that a game is terrible, especially since you yourself have not played it.

I'm not judging it until I play it. The way I look at is, I'm getting a cod 4 remake for 60$ and IW for 20$. Either way its a good deal. 2 new games for 80$ can not be beat.

Yes it will on release of IW maybe not but in some point in time it will be. It's not uncommon for the devs to bundle shit with the game then sell it as a separate download. Treyarch does this all the time with their Nuketown map.
