Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 1 and 2 Now Backwards Compatible

Two “holiday-appropriate” games have been added to the Xbox One backward compatibility list. It’s Star Wars Day, and now you have two more ways to swing a lightsaber on Microsoft’s console.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II are now playable on Xbox One. These are available in addition to the three games that joined the program earlier this week.

If you don’t happen to own these two Force-powered games, you can get them on sale right now. Both are priced at $4.99 (regularly $19.99) for a limited time.

These games are fun to play and mess around. The Force: Unleashed 2 is a good game played it on the PS3 but this game is on a different platform.

I loved the first game. Before I had an Xbox 360 and was a complete Star Wars nerd, I used to obsess over the game. I used to go to GameStop just to play it on the consoles. The graphics, the gameplay, the story.. it was all so mesmerizing. To this day, I continue to play the game over and over, now that I own it. The second one was great too, but obviously nothing is better than the original.

I'm really happy about this update and to all who don't have the game(s), buy them. It's definitely worth it whether you're into Star Wars or not.
