Uncharted 4 sells over 2.7 million during launch week worldwide

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is said to be the last Uncharted but boy are developers Naughty Dog going out with a bang. Not only was the game a critical success but it managed to sell big too. Sony announced via Press Release today that Uncharted 4 sold over 2.7 million units during launch week worldwide, being exclusive to the Playstation 4. The aforementioned number includes both retail and digital sales on PSN.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden had the following to say about the game’s release success:

Thank you to the team at Naughty Dog for delivering Uncharted 4, a stunning experience that sets a new bar for interactive entertainment. We are thrilled so many gamers have taken this journey with Nathan Drake and look forward to continuing to deliver epic gaming experiences available only on PlayStation.

Never played any of this series but it does looks a good game so its of no surprise it did well.

It's uncharted of course they did , they really did a good job on it , I haven't gotten around beating due to my Xbox habbits , but I played a couple's hours on it , it's a well 60$ spent

I am not surprised one bit, Uncharted is a brilliant game and if i was on ps4 i would of purchased it, I loved Uncharted 3 so i would of definitely loved this!

Not surprising it done so well, such a huge audience on playstation and its one of the only exclusives they have, obviously everyone will buy it. Plus the game was so hyped up before hand, just hope it lives up to their expectations.
