E3 2016: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC

It was leaked earlier this week, and probably more than a few gamers saw it coming anyway. During its E3 press briefing Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Definitive Edition for PS4 and Xbox One.

The game comes out on October 29th, and brings back the latest The Elder Scrolls game in a shinier guise, unless you’re a PC gamer, on which case your Skyrim probably already looks as shining as it can thanks to a million of mods.

The good news is that following Fallout 4’s example, mods will come to consoles even with this new remaster, even if there will certainly be more limitations compared to the PC version.

This sounds amazing especially with bethesda doing the whole thing with mods now it will be amazing in my opinion

I will get the free PC upgrade cause I have the legendary edition, but I will probably still buy it for my xbox to play it mainly on lol I wonder how people on PC will feel since theres heavily done mods to make skyrim look real almost, probably not even care about this release.

pdx Graphics enhancements for Skyrim have been around on PC for a while. Can't wait to have a legitimate graphical enhancement that won't crash on me or give me huge performance strain.
