If you’ve always wanted your Xbox One controller to have a bit more flair, Microsoft has the solution. At today’s Microsoft E3 Press Conference, Phil Spencer revealed the Xbox Design Labs custom controllers. With nearly every aspect of the controller customizable, there are more than 8,000,000 different color combinations
Seems like a good concept, lots of companies already doing this so I suppose makes sense for Microsoft to get stuck in there. Suppose it can be beneficial as it'll definitely guarantee a good quality product (you'd hope) and not from a third party manufacturer although I'm sure there will be a pretty price to pay for this considering you're already looking at £50+ for a new controller.
I am actually interested in this to be fair, at least much more so compared to third-party customization websites as this way you know the parts you get will be of suitable quality. It will be nice to be able to easily customize your controller to any given preference; the only thing that may change my decision to buy would naturally be the price.
Although I have an elite controller I probably won't be buying one, but I do like an "official" customized controller as apposed to those customization websites.
