E3 2016: PlayStation VR’s US Release Date Announced by Sony

During its E3 press briefing, Sony Interactive Entertainment predictably announced a firm release date for its upcoming virtual reality headset, PlayStation VR.

The headset, that until now simply came with an “October 2017” release window, will now ship on October 13th in the United States.

SIEA CEO Shawn Layden also reminded us on stage that fifty games will be available for the headset at release.

Still not convinced on the whole VR concept, i'm sure it'd be good to play alone but I often multitask while playing games such as watching videos, browsing the internet and playing with friends (in the same room). This seems to eliminate the option of doing that.

This looks quite good but i really do think xbox should get something like this, Seeing as many other companies are making these similar products.

If you would've even bothered to look at the picture, the headset is $399.
