Year over year, Sony's PlayStation 3 sold less this year than in the previous quarter 2010. From April to June, PS3 sales were 1.8 million units, pushing the lifetime sales figures for the console to 51.8 million. The third map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops has gone live on the PlayStation 3's PSN. The map pack titled annihilation features four new multiplayer arenas and a new jungle themed Zombies mode called Shangri-La. With such a ridiculously massive budget and multiple development studios involved, one would hope both versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 turn out to be almost identical.
