Speaking to Develop, Traveller's Tales director Jon Burton voiced concerns about Microsoft's motion control solution, Project Natal. In a discussion about online revenue streams in Nikkei Japan, Sony technology platform boss Masayuki Chatani mentioned the idea of charging for the PlayStation Network. Square Enix has understandably high hopes for the long awaited Final Fantasy XIII, and to prove it, the publisher recently shipped 1 million copies of the epic role-playing game to retailers in Japan, where the game will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 this Friday, Ameba reports (via Kotaku). Back at E3, we were briefly shown Brink's S.M.A.R.T. system for navigating around the Bethesda-published FPS' environment. Our play session was mainly focused on the combat and quests of the game at the time.
