New Super Mario Bros. Wii has set a new goal for Wii games to shoot for in Japan; the Nintendo game has surpassed the 4 million sold mark, and that in less than a year. Dev stands by his 2007 quote: Wii is a piece of SH*T!
A few years back developer Chris Hecker hit the headlines by shouting out from the roof-tops the "Wii is a piece of SH*T" (although it wasn't all bad). Anyhow, the year is now 2010 and the dev reportedly stands by his original quote. So our question to you... is the Wii really a piece of sh*t? Has your opinion changed for better or worse?

Nintendo: Our next console will make your jaw drop
We've heard very little about Nintendo's next home console, although Sakamoto has revealed a bit. According to him, it will be so good that it will essentially make your jaw drop. He added that Nintendo never does what its rivals are doing and always looks to create unique experiences. With this in mind, one would hope that the Wii 2 is far more than just a Blu-ray add-on.

Nintendo to cut DSi, DSi XL costs by $20 on Sept. 12
