New Dirt game pops up on Steam Early Access for £25
Codemasters Dirt series has moved to Steam’s Early Access and is available to buy today for £24.99. The last entries in the series were released on consoles but Dirt Rally is exclusive to PC at this stage. The game launches with 17 cars and 36 stages with more free content promised. Black Ops 3 PC will ship with ranked dedicated servers and FOV slider
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will ship with bionic eyes and civil unrest and neural control and whistleblowers. That’s as standard. Updating Mods For Minecraft 1.9 Should Be “Less Painful”
Michael Stoyke, one of Mojang’s PC programmers, has take to Twitter to reassure modders that updating their mods from Minecraft version 1.8 to the new 1.9 will be “less painful”. It means anyone optimising mods for the current 1.8 versions of Minecraft shouldn’t have to go through a terrible re-writing process when the next update is released.

Paid mods pulled from Steam Workshop, purchases to be refunded
Steam Workshop’s controversial new paid mods feature has been axed in response to community feedback, Valve has announced. “We’re going to remove the payment feature from the Skyrim workshop. For anyone who spent money on a mod, we’ll be refunding you the complete amount,” Valve wrote in a Steam Community post.
