Starbreeze, the Swedish studio and owners of Payday 2 developer Overkill, has announced that it’s extended its collaboration with 505 Games for another 24 months. H1Z1, Daybreak Games’ zombie survival game, has sold more than one million copies on Steam in just over three months. It looks like the 'mixed' reviews on the game's Steam page hasn't stopped people shuffling towards their monitors, arms extended, demanding more zombie survival experiences.

Turtle Rock have come good on their promise of not fracturing the player base by giving away free maps for their co-op shooter. Two new locations will be available in April, called Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry. Maxis Emeryville, the core EA Maxis studio and SimCity developer, has been shut down by owner EA today. Maxis was one of five studios working under the EA Maxis umbrella, and over the last six years has release Spore, Darkspore and SimCity - all of which launched with a lot of criticism.
