Delete your existing passkey

To change your passkey, you first have to delete the existing passkey. Heres how:

1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Press the Menu button on the controller.

3. Select Settings.
Note You can say Xbox, go to settings from any screen, but youll need a controller to navigate once youre on the Settings screen.

Create your new passkey

After youve deleted your old passkey, follow these steps to create a new one.

1. Select Create my passkey.

4. On the Sign in, security & passkey screen, select where you want to use your passkey by selecting the check box in front of the option you prefer. Youll also be prompted for your passkey when you try to manage exceptions to the privacy and online safety settings youve set on your childrens accounts.
