Are you an adult?

Only adults can set up a guest key and content restrictions for guests.

Are you signed in?

You must be signed in to make changes to your privacy and security settings, including the guest key and content restrictions.

Is there a guest key already set for the console?

If theres a guest key already set up on the console, youll have to remove it before you can add a new one. If youve forgotten the guest key, youll need to restore factory default settings to clear the existing guest key.

Warning Restoring your console to the factory default settings erases all accounts, apps, games, saved games, and settings. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. Your console syncs with Xbox Live automatically when its connected with the service. Before restoring factory settings, be sure you sign in to Xbox Live to allow your console to synchronize with the service.
