When watching something like Netflix on the PS4, there isn't a way to turn off the controller without pausing the stream. While you can just leave it on, this can cause two issues, for one it drains your battery and two the LED on the controller can be distracting if you have the lights off. Well the tutorial below will show you how to turn you controller off, but still watch whatever you are streaming!

- Hold PS button until the device menu appears.
- (While still holding the PS button) press circle to exit the menu.
- Press X to resume playing your video (still holding the PS button!).
- Continue holding the PS button until the controller turns itself off.
