As of System Software Update 1.70, the DualShock 4s light bar can be dimmed. If the camera has difficulty recognizing the controller, try increasing the brightness of the light bar.


To change the brightness of the DualShock 4's light bar follow these steps

Step 1: Press and hold from the PS button on the controller.

Step 2: Select [Adjust Devices] and press the X button.

Step 3: Select [Brightness of DualShock 4 Light Bar].

Step 4: Choose a brighter level than the current setting (Dim, Medium, and Bright).
