Congratulations on your new Xbox One video game console. Setting the Xbox One up is an easy task that you can follow by the book. Here are some steps:

1.Remove all of your pieces from the box and set the console itself on a flat service.(make sure nothing is blocking the top vent)
2.Plug the Xbox Kinect into the back of your console, and set the Kinect on a flat surface, as well. Remove the plastic film from the front of the Kinect.
3.Plug the power source into the back of the Xbox One, and then plug the secondary cable into the power source. The other end will go into your wall outlet.
4.Plug the HDMI cable into the Xbox One, and plug the other end into your HDTV.
5.Place your batteries into the back of the Xbox One Controller.
6.Power On the system by placing your finger over the Xbox logo.
