Kill the boss in the Venus region and get to extraction.
Venus is the second planet you'll unlock. The boss on this planet is called the Jackal and is found on the Fossa node.
If you're having a hard time killing him, look for any higher ranks here on this website (Trophy Boosting Thread) or via the ingame recruiting chat. If you however want to defeat him yourself, here's how:
Jackal is a robotic Corpus boss. Since he's from the Corpus faction, try to use a weapon that has high Impact damage. Combine this with Magnetic, Electricity, Radiation or Toxic for even better results.
In order to defeat the Jackal, you'll have to shoot his legs. If you do enough damage to one or more of his legs, they will collapse and you'll be able to do heavy damage on his body. He won't move nor attack in the mean time. If you have a strong weapon you can ignore his legs and simply shoot his body.
Jackal has a few attacks which he can use. First there is his gatling gun that he will use most of the time. While the damage per bullet isn't all that high, the combined fire rate and accuracy of this weapon can potentially leave you in a critical stage. Attack him from the back or stick to one of the four pillars to dodge his gatling gun.
He also has an attack where he will stomp the ground with his right front leg and start a shockwave (orange circle). The shockwave will quickly expand, damaging and knocking you back leaving you vulnerable for a moment. You can easily dodge this attack by jumping over the orange circle, or by using Rhino's Iron Skin ability for example. He sometimes uses this attack multiple times in a row.
He can also shoot multiple volleys of missiles up in the air. Don't worry about these, they're really inaccurate and not that strong.
And finally, he can shoot sticky plasma explosives. Because of this attack you'll probably want to stick close to one of the 4 pillars. He will shoot blue orbs all around him. These will stick to anything and explode after a few seconds doing massive splash damage.
While fighting the Jackal, Mine Ospreys will spawn. These will drop red orbs that will explode after a short time or when you step on them. While you should focus on the Jackal, make sure not too many of these are active on the battlefield at once.
You'll receive the trophy as soon as you (and the remaining players) get to extraction.
