To achieve this trophy/achievement you must stop and AST with an EMP grenade. An AST are heavily armoured Atlas soldiers. They wear massive suits and take more damage and fight more aggressively. All you need to do when encountering one is to throw an EMP grenade at it. Once you have stunned the AST with an EMP grenade you will get the trophy/achievement. You don't have the kill it to achieve the trophy just stun it with an EMP.
