On the level HUNTER killed the nosalises before they break through the ventilation grilles.
Towards the end of the Hunter level, you will find yourself in a room with Alex and Hunter. When they get up from their seats, make sure to grab the revolver handgun from the yellow locker in the center of the room. Now locate the four vents in each corner of the room and be prepared for a pesky achievement.
For the next minute or so, swarms of Nosalis mutants will begin their attack by attempting to break through the ventilation shafts. You will need to act quickly during this time in order to kill them before they break through. Dont worry too much about the enemies that drop in through the ceiling hole in the center of the room; your allies will usually take care of these beasts without much effort. If at any point one of the vents breaks and a mutant gets through, simply restart your checkpoint and try again.
