Kill a creeper with arrows.

As soon as your done/skipped the tutorial you can climb up some stairs. When you reach the top you will see a chest. Inside the chest is a enchanted bow and 20 arrows. Then just wait on till the night time, then just head out and wreck some creepers with your arrows.
