Quick Thinking
Pull off a successful 1-2-3 double play (not achievable in RTTS; only earned if playing an uninterrupted game against the CPU, without switching sides or fast forwarding).
You will need to load the bases. Easiest way is to just intentionally walk everyone ( + ) three times to start an inning, then throw pitches low in the zone to help induce a ground ball. You need it to come back to the pitcher and he'll have to throw home, and then have the catcher throw to first to complete the double play.
Make sure that you having "Throwing Decision" set to "Off" in the gameplay settings so the CPU doesn't make the throwing decisions. It's crucial to have a pitcher at the mound that has been edited to have the following attributes max in the Edit Player menus:
Arm Strength
Arm Accuracy
Reaction
Fileding Ability
Then you'll want the following sliders maxed:
Fielder Run Speed
Fielder Reaction
CPU Timing (you don't want to strike people out)
And the following sliders at their minimum:
Fielding Errors
Throwing Errors
Baserunner Speed
The most important thing is to have the opposing teams hitting attributes completely lowered. Now just keep the bases loaded and if the batter puts the ball in play that doesn't go to your pitcher, avoid recording an out.
