Hey TTG, today I'm going to tell you how to make this amazing animated avatar.

Example :
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

1) Firstly you have to create your project!
If you don't know how to make a project than click FILE and NEW! Thats it!
Now edit your Project size to your liking! As this is an avatar I will be using a size of 120x120 pixels!! As for you, choose your own size and create the project file!

2) Than design the project to your liking! For this avatar I have made a simple image with a background and the text 'B'.

3) After you have created your avatar to your liking you must enable the Timeline tool! Simply do this by going to WINDOW and TIMELINE
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
This should bring up : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Simply click create timeline!

4) After that you should get something like this : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Now that is only for people who are familiar with making animations via Photoshop! Its a bit more advanced!
So you will be enabling the simple version of this!
So click the button with the three squares on the bottom left corner!

You should end up with : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

5) Now what you have to do is compile all of your layers into one layer.
You can simply do this by creating a fresh new layer and than applying the image : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Just click Image on the top and Apply image! And than click OK
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

6) Now you have to create duplicates of the layer you have created in step 5! Just click the layer and press : ALT+J

I am making 5 duplicates but you can make how many you want to suit the colourful graphic animation!

7) After that just make the duplicates of the original layer invisible. To do this just click the eye next to the layer

8) After that we will begin to make the animation! We will focus on the timeline tab so make sure you have that! If you followed this tutorial properly you should have the timeline! So now add a new animation layer by clicking : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
You should end up with a duplicate of the first animation layer!

9) Now while on the second animation layer, enable one of the duplicate layers of your work! [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Than simply change the colour of that Image!
To do this go to :
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
You than will get a popup box looking like this : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Now move the HUE slider and you will see a change in colour! Just keep changing that and find a colour that you like!

10) Now go back to timeline tool and we need to tween it!
So click :
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
After clicking another popup box will come up :
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Just use the same settings shown on the image above!
Than click OK

11) You have successfully created a part of the animation!
Now make another new animation layer!
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Than go back to your Layer tab/area and make another duplicate visible!
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Than do the same as step 9 and 10!

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Also if you would like to change the time each frame pops up than click : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I will be using 0 but for a smoother experience use something below 0.1.
Anything about 0.1 will look weird if you are making a constant animation!

12) Now you can keep going on and keep changing colours but for this tutorial I will just transition it to 3 colours!
So after you have created your project you will have to save it!
Saving GIFs are a bit different than saving a normal image so follow me!

Click FILE on the top
And click save for web
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Another popup box should popup and to maximize your quality just copy my settings!
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Than just click save and you are done!

Now you can upload it to a image hosting site! I recommend [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] as its simple!

13) You have successfully created an animated graphic art thing! I created a Avatar but you can create a signature or anything you wish!
Have fun making your cool colourful animated graphics!
