The Beast is the sixth boss in which you fight in the game. You will fight him in the same location as you did the second boss, the Commander. The first thing you will notice is the second meter/bar below his health meter. This meter indicates fatigue. Once the meter is full, the Beast will be stunned for a short period of time.

The Beast has both, a short and a long range attack. His short range attacks include two large and slow swipes with his club. These can be avoided by rolling/evading. If you get really close, he will also stamp his feet. His long range attack includes a ground shaking wave that can easily be avoided by rolling/evading. The best way to approach the fight is to use magic from a distance and wait for him to fatigue, then equip you best weapon in two hands and go and deal as much damage as you can. Simply rinse and repeat until the boss has been defeated.
