Gas vents can be found in strongholds, or on the ground on Red zones. You will need to shoot the gas, and kill an enemy with the explosion. If you get spotted on a stronghold, the enemies will chase you. Go to the valve that you have to deactivate to capture the stronghold, and wait for your enemies. Sometimes you will see some gas, shoot it and the nearest enemies will die.
