This achievement is not obtainable on the tutorial levels.

Simply start up a new campaign or challenge level from the main menu selection. Once the level loads, press the cn_Y and use the left analog stick to find a blank/unoccupied piece of land with nothing on it . Move your cursor over that piece of land and press cn_A. From there, click on "Exhibit" title and keep scrolling thru xhibits until you find one with a small microscope in the top right Click on that certain exhibit and it will ask you to confirm that you want to research it and hit yes and a timer will appear in the top left of your screen. Once the timer reaches 0:00, the achievement will pop.
