Score is obtained in a few ways:
Killing enemies, giving you 50 points for most enemies and 200 for some.
Shooting enemy projectiles, giving you 50 points.
Collecting power ups, giving you 200 points.
Defeating a boss.
When you are done defeating either of the two bosses, you should easily surpass 10,000 points and unlock all of the point-related achievements.
