Unlock the ability to inherit 50 Gifts.



To inherit a gift you must go to a Mistle and choose the option to acquire/inherit gifts.
Inherited gifts can be acquired by maximizing the proficiency of an unlocked gift. There are two ways of doing this:

You use the acquired gift with its blood code during your playthrough.
Maximize it by using Awake items, these are scattered throughout the game. Can be dropped by enemies. If you have fully explored a map of the Depths you can see which Awake item is dropped.

Inherited gifts are useful if you want to use a certain gift but are unable to because you're using another blood code (inherited gifts are not tied anymore to its blood code). Especially gifts that enhance your stats.
