Open an FTP client on your computer. Select the "Establish a New Connection" option.

Enter your iPod Touch IP address into the "Server" field. Tap the "Settings" icon, select the "Wi-Fi" option. Tap your current Wi-Fi network to display the network's IP address.

Enter "root" into the "Username" field. Enter "alpine" in the "Password" field. Type "22" into the "Port" field.

Select "SFTP" from the "Protocol" drop-down menu. Click "Connect." The FTP application will display your iPod's root file directory. Click the "Var" folder.

Click the "Media" folder. Click the "iTunes_control" folder." Click the "Music" folder to display the music files on your iPod Touch.
