Go to any image hosting site (I will be using [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] here) and upload the image.
Once the image is uploaded, click on the 3 dots and get the link (make sure it is the BBCode one).
Paste the BBCode link into your forum post and click preview to see how it looks before you publish.
If the image hosting site you are using does not give you a BBCode link to copy, copy the direct link (which usually ends with the filetype extension, for example .png) and click the image icon and paste the link in there.

Good idea for a tutorial man. It's a shame that some of these services collapsed. I see that many of the images I embedded in the past are no longer visible.
