How to Set Up Modded Lobbies on PS3
MW2, WaW, CoD4 and More!


I know that there have been topics similar to this posted, but I've been getting quite a few AIMs about MW2 1.12 patches vs 1.11 patches, WaW Multiplayer vs Zombies, ect. So I figured I would make an updated tutorial for all Call of Duty games. You must have a jailbroken PS3 to host lobbies.





Installing Comgenie's Awesome FileManager
1.Download Comgenie's Awesome FileManager on your computer.
2.Use either WinRar (PC) or UnRarX (Mac) to unzip the file.
3.Place "ComgenieAwesomeFilemanager355.pkg" in your USB (not in a folder).
4.Remove the USB from your computer and insert it into your PS3.
5.Go to Install Package Files and install "ComgenieAwesomeFilemanager355.pkg".

Modern Warfare 2 Modded Lobbies









Modern Warfare 2 Modded Patches: Mvieyra's Stable MW2 1.12 Patch (Online)
Blackstorm's MW2 1.12 Patch (Online)
DEREKTROTTER v8 FINAL (Mossy Edit) **OFFLINE ONLY**
1.On your computer, download a Modded Patch for Modern Warfare 2.
2.Make a folder in your USB titled "PATCH".
3.Drag the Modded Patch into the "PATCH" folder inside your USB.
4.Disconnect your USB from your computer and connect it to your PS3.
5.Start Comgenie's Awesome FileManager.
6.Navigate to dev_hdd0 > Game > BLUS30377 (US) or BLES00686 (EU) > USRDIR and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
7.Press Right on the D-Pad to switch to the menu on the left side.
8.Navigate to dev_usb000 > PATCH and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
9.Now press Select, O (Circle), then Start. Then press the PS Button and select Quit Game.
10.You have successfully inserted a modded patch. Start up MW2 and test it out!

World at War Modded Lobbies:





CoD 5 World At War Modded Patches: Karoolus WaW Multiplayer Patch - US
WaW Multiplayer Patch
Nacht Der Untoten & Verrckt Modded Patch - US
Shi No Numa Modded Patch
Der Riese Modded Patch
1.On your computer, download a Modded Patch for World at War.
2.Make a folder in your USB titled "PATCH".
3.Drag the Modded Patch into the "PATCH" folder inside your USB.
4.Disconnect your USB from your computer and connect it to your PS3.
5.Start Comgenie's Awesome FileManager.
6.You will navigate to different directories depending on the type of lobby you are looking to host:

Multiplayer Modded Lobby:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English and highlight over patch_mp.ff.

Nacht Der Untoten & Verrckt:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English and highlight over patch_ff.

Shi No Numa:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English > dlcmappack2 > English and highlight over nazi_zombie_sumpf_patch.ff'.

Der Riese:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English > dlcmappack3 > English and highlight over nazi_zombie_factory_patch.ff'.
7.Press Right on the D-Pad to switch to the menu on the left side.
8.Navigate to dev_usb000 > PATCH and highlight over the patch_mp.ff/patch.ff/nazi_zombie_sumpf_patch.ff'/nazi_zombie_factory_patch.ff'.
9.Now press Select, O (Circle), then Start. Then press the PS Button and select Quit Game.
10.You have successfully inserted a modded patch. Start up World at War and test it out!

Call of Duty 4 Modded Lobbies





Call of Duty 4 Modded Patches: QuickSilver's CoD 4 Patch
Cheez's CoD 4 Patch
Godlymodz CoD 4 Patch
1.On your computer, download a Modded Patch for Call of Duty 4.
2.Make a folder in your USB titled "PATCH".
3.Drag the Modded Patch into the "PATCH" folder inside your USB.
4.Disconnect your USB from your computer and connect it to your PS3.
5.Start Comgenie's Awesome FileManager.
6.Navigate to dev_hdd0 > Game > BLUS30072 (US) > USRDIR and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
7.Press Right on the D-Pad to switch to the menu on the left side.
8.Navigate to dev_usb000 > PATCH and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
9.Now press Select, O (Circle), then Start. Then press the PS Button and select Quit Game.
10.You have successfully inserted a modded patch. Start up CoD4 and test it out!
