Features:
Play backups directly from XMB
Works on almost all games using EBOOT.BIN
Games load much smoother when run from HDD rather than Disc

Known Issues:
You cannot update games
Does not currently work on GeoHotz

Required:
multiMan Backup Manager - Download the latest version HERE
A PS3 game using eboot.bin
PS3 FTP
Custom Firmware that supports Peek & Poke
Computer Running Windows or Virtual Windows

PKG Files: (if you are too lazy to make your own; will post more soon)
Call of Duty 4 (3.55 FW)

Tutorial
1.) Start multiMan on your PS3 and backup the game you are going to do this with.

2.) Using your FTP, locate your backed up game. (Usually in the dev_hdd0/GAMES/ folder if backed up by multiMan) Open the folder and download the PS3_GAME folder to your computer.

3.) On your computer, locate your multiMan folder. Open it and extract the multiMAN [EBOOT_pkg].rar. Locate ebootFix.exe and drag your PS3_GAME folder you downloaded in step 2 to it.

4.) You will be presented with 2 .PKG files and instructions.txt. You can ignore instructions.txt and continue following this guide for now.

--> for firmwares 01.90-03.41: "[BLUS#####] (Your Game) (HDD).pkg"
--> for firmware 03.55: "[BLUS#####] (Your Game) (HDD)-FW_355.pkg"

5.) Copy the .PKG you need to the root of a USB drive of any sort (not in any folders)

6.) Go back to your PS3 and start up multiMan again. Press [SELECT+START] and you will enter file manager mode.

7.) Browse to your backed up game on your internal HDD (dev_hdd0/GAMES) and locate your game. Again, navigate to your PS3_GAME folder but don't enter it. While the PS3_GAME folder is highlighted, press [R3]. This will create a 'shadow copy' or link to your game. The copies will be generated to these 2 locations. (The #'s represent the numbers identifying your game, these differ by game and region)
--> /dev_hdd0/G/e#####
--> /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS#####

8.) Exit multiMan. With your USB drive inserted in your PS3, go to install .PKG. You will now install the .PKG you created earlier.

9.) You should now have an icon of your game on your XMB!
