Retreating from Quarry Junction to Sloan I got my butt munched by a young deathclaw, and since there was an entire pack of them further in the quarry, I retreat up the road and discover Sloan. I make friends there, heal a pet molerat, then I steal some money from a few of the ramshackle huts that make up the tiny village. I accidentally squat down on a dirty outhouse hole. Gross!I also learn from Chomps Lewis (the quarry foreman) that I just need to take out the queen and alpha male of the deathclaw pack, and the rest will scatter. So that's the secret! I head back to the quarry as the sun sets...
