Battling Fiends in New Vegas OutskirtsNow that I healed and repaired everything, I start at Freeside's gate and make my way across the south side of New Vegas, trying to reach Red Rock Canyon, where I will either contact the Great Khans, or completely exterminate the ass-bombs. I run into a few frag mines, but manage to disarm most of them. Then, I run into a few groups of fiends. These guys are very random. Some have lethal weapons, while others run at me with pool cues. After several battles and near-death experiences, I manage to wipe out all of them, including Cook-Cook, a fiend with a very deadly flamer weapon. I move onward toward Red Rock Canyon...
