Nice review on Portal 2 bro, but this game already has an official thread. The more reviews the better, but if you're doing a game which already has a thread, then just post it as a reply to that thread.

[My review of Splinter Cell Conviction]

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Game Information:
Release Date: April 13, 2010
Developed: Ubisoft Montreal
Genre: Action
Platform: PC/PS3/Xbox360/ Mac?
Age Restrictions: 15+

Story:
Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth game in the Splinter Cell series. The story begins with Victor Coste - a friend of Sam Fisher ( the guy that you are playing with ) and a former Navy SEAL , held in a Black Arrow facility, interrogated by unknown (to us) men.You basically play the whole story, while it's told in past tense by Victor while he is interrogated. The story of Sam Fisher in this installment of Splinter Cell starts at Valletta, Malta. At that location you get help from Anna "Grim" Grimsdottir, a former Third Echelon colleague, to find and interrogate a man, connected to Andriy Kobin - responsible for the death of Sam's daughter. I don't want to spoil too much for you, because the story is really great and you can see what an angry father is ready to do to avenge his daughter. You go through several levels, some of them being an airfield, the Lincoln memorial and even the White House! I won't say why and when.

Gameplay:
Splinter Cell: Conviction introduces new features to the series, such as the "Mark & Execute" feature, which allows the player to mark specific targets, such as enemies and shoot them when they burst through a door or window.Another new feature includes the ability to interrogate people in real time and use objects in the surrounding environment against them. This is probably the coolest part of the game in my opinion because the interrogations are so BURTAL and awesome looking.
The game includes a Single Plyer mode, Co-OP ( with it's own story ) , Split Screen, System link and Deniable Ops mode.
In Co-Op you can play also through System link and Split Screen. In Co-Op you play with Archer and Kestrel - Third Echelon agents. I can't say much for the co-op story since I haven't played through it, but I am looking forward to it.
The Deniable Ops mode includes Hunter, Infiltration, Last Stand, and Face-Off. Face-Off is the game's only actual competitive Multiplayer mode, as it features the ability to kill the opposing spy. Hunter, Infiltration, and Last Stand are also Single Player and do not always have to be played with a human partner.

Graphics:
The graphics in the game are really good. The blood looks quite realistic when you shoot someone in the head. The lighting is perfect for each environment that you play in. The character models are cool and good looking, same goes for the guns.I've never had any issues with the graphics, the frame rate or whatever.

Bottom Line and rating
The game is the best in the Splinter Cell series so far.I absolutely loved every second of it.It was the first game that I got for my xbox, and my money were well spent on it, even though it's not that expensive anymore. The soundtrack is awesome. Michael Ironside does a great job in the voice acting for Sam Fisher. The gameplay was innovative and quite strange at first for the series, but it was spot on by Ubisoft. This is a must-buy game!
My Rating - 10/10

Lego Indiana Jones: The Adventure Continues
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Game Description wrote LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues combines the fun and creative construction of LEGO bricks with the wits, daring and non-stop action of one of cinema's most beloved adventure heroes. With a unique, tongue-in-cheek take on all the Indiana Jones films - including for the first time ever Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - LEGO Indiana Jones 2 follows Dr. Jones' escapades from the jungles of South America to the Peruvian Ruins and beyond. Fans can experience the most authentic LEGO experience yet by designing and building their own levels brick by brick, and by fusing their levels with the ones in the game to create a custom experience. In LEGO Indiana Jones 2, everyone can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments - or create their own.

Lego Indiana Jones was a great game, I currently have it in my "collection" of games right now. I used to have the original one for the Wii but that one didn't have as many features as the newer one on the Xbox.

First off, there are way more characters that you can choose to play with
Second, in between levels, there is a whole world where you can:
Fly Planes
Drive Boats
Drive Cars and Jeeps
Third, the in between mission world is a combination all of the Indiana Jones movies, Like if you choose to play the first movie, you can go over to where the plane accident is or all the way over to the spot where the Nazis open up the chest

Like ALL of the other Lego games, you have to play levels for each movie they made. There is nothing really new here except for different levels and different people. With that said, there are A LOT of things you can do still. In the games before Lego Indiana Jones, you couldn't do that much, like flying planes this in-depth or drive more advanced cars. So when this came out, it was awesome because it introduced a lot of things that weren't in the previous games.

I would give this game a 4/10 because of how well it was when it came out and the really good storyline. The "worlds" in between the missions are the best out of all Lego games.

Pictures of the game:

Made by developer Criterion, a name you might remember from the classic racing series of Burnout, NFS: Hot Pursuit is a step forward in the racing game world. If you're not a fan of racing video games, the fast cars, intense sound, amazing graphics, and stunning gameplay, it will make you a fan. And if you already are a fan, NFS will leave you in awe.

To say the least, the concept of such a game as this is pretty simple. Go fast, look good, don't crash, and win. The go fast part of this game is easily covered by famous brand name cars such as Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Pagani, and more. That about covers the looks, too. These cars are slick looking, and with the option to customize your car's color before each race, your vehicle will be one-of-a-kind. But make sure you keep it looking fresh; with speeds of up to 250mph, NoS, sharp turns, and traffic, keeping out of harms way will not be an easy task.

The campaign in this game is one that keeps you occupied for hours. Keep racing against CPU users, go for record setting times, test out the top notch cars in time trials, all on race courses that are not for the weak. Take shortcuts to boost your time, and avoid the cops.

NFS: Hot Pursuit is different from most racing games we've seen so far with its police feature. I mean, come on, any game with a Lamborghini cop car has to be good, right? In campaign, you will hunt down deadly racers by attempting to wreck their vehicle, while they attempt to do the same to you while racing. Use roadblocks, EMPs, and more to catch these trouble making racers.

The online gameplay is also one you will NOT want to miss out on. Race against a few friends in the track of your chosing with the car category of your chosing. Or if you want to bump up the competetion, race online with hard core gamers. And if you are feeling real confident, Play Hot Pursuit and run from the cops or join them. Earn Bounty as a Racer, similar to Xp, and level up to unlock new cars, or earn bounty as a cop, to level up and earn new police cars. One of the nice things about this game is that your bounty goes up with online and offline gameplay.

people post pointless stuff in every topic its not like everyone is going to read every review and you guys probably copy it off of gamestop reviews or other sites that do reviews.

Synopsis

Castle Crashers is set in a fictional medieval universe. It begins with four knights attending a party in a king's castle. During the party a dark wizard arrives, stealing a floating mystical gem and capturing four princesses. The king sends the four knights to retrieve the gem, rescue his daughters, and bring the wizard to justice. The four knights encounter several enemies along the way, including other knights, multiple encounters with a cyclops, a giant "cat-fish", and alien invaders.

Story

As you get closer to saving the princesses as you take on hoards of enemies that become stranger the further you progress through the story, you soon realise the bigger picture, your a tiny knight with a not very powerful sword. There aren't boring cut scenes to sit through during this game all the story plays out right in front of you often by entering a room you'll trigger the next piece in the timeline. The story isn't very long, or complicated or brilliantly well written, but it doesn't need to be because you have one mission, kill things that move - save princesses, as long as you understand that you can't go wrong.

Gameplay

Button bash your way to stardom in each level dying as little as possible and making sure your the one handing out massive combos. The game lets you start with one weapon although you can pick up better weapons (even a carrot). That said the weapons are not what's key to victory in this game, it's all about experience. The higher your level the faster you can chop heads off, sounds obvious but it took me ages to realise the importance of dishing out my xp rewards properly to make sure I had a character with statistics that would rival even the best. Once you have that sorted you'll find yourself hitting enemies so fast that you'll be able to juggle them in the sky in no time. You can upgrade things like Agility, Strength, Magic. Depending on your play style and what you know to be your characters strong points.
The single player is great fun on it's own, even online with friends the story becomes a good way to boast about your almost invincible character. But trust me the real test is when you brave your skills and enter the almighty button bash fest that is multiplayer, again great with friends, or for the serious addict you can crush other knights in ranked matches which include modes like fight to the death, treasure hunt and other random words.

Graphics

Considering this game first emerged on consoles back in 2008 as a downloadable item the graphics are not as bad as they should be, it's nice to look at very bright and almost like looking at a comic book, if that comic book was coloured using highlighters.
When playing this you have to remember this is a side scrolling RPG who's roots began back when online games were all free and the developers were just happy to have people playing their stuff. Then of course the bigger console companies got hold of it and demanded a new look, this was for the best though, the game can handle tones of enemies on screen at once and at points it can get pretty busy so busy you loose your player, but still it keeps going and won't let you down, unless you play online with a terrible host then you can expect so much lag you'll think your watching a flip book. But that rarely happens any more. I promise.

Controls

If you ever played Alien Hominid this is very close to that, the game uses very simple controls, one joystick to move, a trigger for magic a button for jump you get the picture, it was never designed to be impossible to play and it isn't. It's more to do with timing like a good Street Fighter game is. You can button bash all day long but you will miss things, so a good player will have the combos as well as the timing down. You get those and you'll be one badass knight.
