Why Jtag's will never be illegal.
Reason i made this is going all the way down the bottom.
Why Will never be illegal.
They will not be illegal because people who buy jtags make them alot of money because they have to buy lots of xbox's every month or so.If they where to illegal microsoft would end up a tiny bit like Sony and then there would be problems.Microsoft make millions of J-Taggers and if they were to make them illegal they would lose all that money they bring as you may have seen Microsoft Have move a massive 55 million consoles in six years and i would say 67% of them are sold to J-Taggers that is a lot of j-tags.
Reason:
A couple of people and friends ask me arent jtags illegal and i try to clear that up so im posting this for future worries but i didnt hesitate wether thay were illegal or not.

I Had only 2 sources.

You dont really cover the aspect of why they are not illegal.
They arent illegal because modifying (modding) the xbox is just against microsofts "terms of use". But on the other hand Flashing drives and using back up games (Which you do not own the original copy of) is illegal.
