Written Steps(Credit Shared between -Paradox- and Cod Wiki)

Step 1
The meteorite on top of the temple.
At the starting room, there are four dials each on their own wall by Quick Revive. When all four players press 'X' at the same time, the moon will eclipse the sun, and a large meteorite will appear on the top of the temple.

Step 2
Near the MPL, there appear to be two characters locked in the locked area behind the weapon. They want the players to set them free, similar to the Original Characters Trapped easter egg. After they finish their dialogue, magical plates can be found scattered all over the map if you did it right.

Step 3

These magical plates are a puzzle, they have symbols on it when you stand on them. And you have to match that symbol to another one on the map. To complete this step, it seems as if you have to make all the plates disappear. If you get a few wrong some of the plates will come back. The plates are located on both sides of the long wooden bridge, and by the button that you just pushed to talk to the man who is trapped, but any other spots are unknown. There is also a time limit of approximately 4-5 minutes until the eclipse ends, resetting all progress.

The following are known symbols to appear on the tiles:

A Female gender symbol.
3 Short straight lines intersected by a long straight line.
A Diamond outline.
A Circle with a straight line cutting it in half.
A Circle with a small dot in the middle.
3 Dots arranged in a triangle.
A Triangle outline.

Step 4

Three players stand on the pressure plate one goes down the water slide and there is a switch there when you down it hold x to hit the switch and that will do it

Step 5

Go to the waterfall, there should be a diamond on top of the waterfall, shoot it with a Ray Gun. When it's on the ground, shoot it with the 31-79 JGb215, it should shrink. Knife it and it goes into the slide to the water sprout. Launch yourself with the diamond on the water sprout and it should land on a tower. A new diamond should spawn, that means you did it right.

Step 6
Go to the underground tunnel near step 2, find a red wheel attached to a pipe and press X. The British guy should say something about the walls closing in.

Step 7

Walk with a Napalm Zombie next to the gas pipes, it will be set on fire. Once you walk the Zombie through all gas pipes, go back to the rocks and you will here the two people talking about trying to get out of Shangri-La *when all pipes are lit you need to double back to the valve and hit the lever beside


Step 8 You have to activate the eclipse for this step. In the tunnel with the MP5k on a board, there are now 4 holes on the side of the tunnel. You have to plug these holes using Spikemores. The best way is to lure crawlers towards the tunnels and place the Spikemore facing the holes, so that the Punji spikes get lodged into the holes. After this is done, you have to go to the bottom of the waterfall. On one side of the boulder in the center, there is a brick wall, with a brick sticking out saying "Do not hold X". Hold "X" and the eclipse will end on its own, signifing that you have completed this step succesfully. Also, a new diamond will appear above the mudpit temple

step 9 There appears to be more symbols on the walls. Apparently there are 13 symbols and you must knife them and they will light up[ working on more detailed step 9]

Step 1:

Activate the power and start the Eclipse.

Step 2:

Match stones on ground. 1 person stays at bridge/mud and one person will be standing on the stones at the right side of the map. He will be telling what he is standing on and the 1 person walks on top of the stones to find the stones that the person is standing on.

Step 3:

Make sure you're in an Eclipse. Everyone go down the water slide except one person, wait for the 3 people to standing on the big platform at the end of the slide, then the last person comes down. It should turn day time.

Step 4:

Make sure you have the wonder weapon by now go to the water slide and you should hear a farting meteor coming from the sky. Shoot that down and shrink it. After you shrink it knife the meteor into the slide. Chase it to the Geyser jet thing that launches you up and launch up. The meteor should land on top of a stick just like the other two.

Step 5:

Make it Eclipse and Go to the cave where the guy is and you should hear him coughing.

Step 6:

There is a Valve next to where he is. Spin that till he stops coughing and starts to talk.

Step 7:

Probably the most difficult step because you HAVE to do this during the Eclipse, continue on with the rounds until you get a Napalm Zombie. Turn on the Eclipse. Take it throughout underground where you see each gas pressure leak and make it walk past it too make the gas turn on fire. Once done with that kill the Napalm, go back to where the Vavle is at and you should see a Lever to be pulled down, do so and make crawlers.

Step 8:

Now make sure 2 people have Spikemores and go to the cave closest to the bridge. Against the cave walls you will see 4 holes in the walls. Place the Spikemores facing towards the holes and have zombies walk past them so the Spikemores will activate and the spikes will plug the holes. Now press the brick on the rock that causes the pressure, where the water fall is at.

Step 9:

There are 12 Panels just like the ones that you stepped on earlier in the Easter Egg all around the map on walls that you have to knife. Knife them. Go to the Mine Cart and if you look in the forest in the background you will see a Tepee tent looking thing made out of wood. Throw a grenade at it and it should explode and turn to day light.

Step 10:

To the right of the cart on a table there should be a radio, listen to it.

Step 11:

Turn into Eclipse Go to the mud and you should see the wheel things against the walls. Make the one to the farthest wall on the right to the symbol that looks like this, "[|-" then go to the one behind it and put it to the symbol that looks like a Dot. Now go to the one diaganol from that one and put it to 3 Dots. Now go to the one behind it and put it to 4 Dots (the code you should of heard from the radio on the table was 16 1 3 4) it should now change to day time.

Step 12:

Now when its day time go to where you spawned and the dragon water fall thing the one to the right of the stairs should have a radio on the floor listen to that.

Step 13:

For this part you have to PaP the Wonder Weapon. Go into Eclipse mode. Now there are 8 gongs, 4 in which make a music sounding tone and 4 that don't make that noise. Hit the gongs that make the music sounding tone in a certain order to make music (they are different each time so use the crawler method to give you time to try and find your pattern. If you hit the gongs wrong, the crystal balls will turn red) If you did it right the Orbs will turn orange and have a Treyarch symbol spinning around them. Now shoot the orb that is in spawn on top of the spikes that leads to the mud. If you did it right it should shoot a laser to all of the Orbs and shoot the meteor at the top of the temple. If you did it wrong it will shoot out red flares and turn to day time.

Step 14:

Last step of the tutorial. If you already have the dynamite just watch this video and it should help! (By the way the dynamite should be in the power room because that is where I found it you have to be in the past too and im not sure if it spawns randomly, and sometimes you get it after the crystal ball step after the meteor blows up).

"In the Jungle" Shangri-La Trailer + Breakdown

Well guys this will be long but like always ill be using pictures from video so lets start shall we.

What do we have here, you may ask. Well simply this is just the effects of turning on the power in the first picture notice the lights are not on and then the second pic shows them on and illuminating the cave. Also another effect of turning the power on is that it also turns on the water around the map, for instance as seen in the second picture the water falls into the water wheel and im sure that's how power is produced.Also in the scenes directly after this one in the trailer shows a couple places where the water turns on.

These next two images show what we have as "confirmed" weapons. So the weapons we have here are the Commando, Famas, MPL, MP5k, Galil, and the RPK, other confirmed weapons (not shown above) include the M14, Dual Pistols, and AK-47u

[b]This picture shows the view going down the water slide as Takeo did in the trailer, the only thing i can point out here would be to be aware if that slide merging with the other one with what i would imagine be zombies coming out of it.

This shows Richtofen riding the mining cart to the cave this looks like what i tihnk to be the most efficient way of transportation across the map one because it takes out zombies as your moving which saves ammo but also it seems like it could take you to a lot of places. if you look at the bottom left of this picture you can see another tunnel which could be a continuation of the rail the cart is on or maybe a new mining cart trail. So for now i'm probably taking the mining cart 9 times out of 10.

The previous image showed my preferred way of traveling the map, as for this one im probably using this to escape large hordes. This is what looks like to me a blowhole that shoots you up to ground level of the map from the cave. I think this way will work very similarly to the flopper in Call of the Dead where its sensitive to the weight put on it like if you step on it and get off it will blow-up with or without you. This seems like a good place to end up if you run laps or circles on this map.

Now this seems just absolutely awesome! In all previous Zombie maps with claymores they have been almost useless getting you maybe 2 kills per round and you have to pay 1000 points for them. Now what Treyarch did might have just increased there value these Spike Claymores are insanely cool. They seem very efficient to use and they seem extremely successful according to this following image...

Yeah that is the explosion from these Spike Claymores, shooting spikes in every which way. These will be excellent if you choose to camp a spot out for a couple rounds or if your running laps and you need a quick break to re-load. If you have a 4 man team and each team member invests in these i think that would be a very wise investment.

Now seen here is what looks to be the aftermath of one shot of the 31-79 JGb215. Now it looks to shrink zombies but it also seems you have to shoot them twice for a kill. Now this is good and bad good because this weapon looks awesome but two shots for one kill not very efficient unless they give a lot of ammo with it. Another positive i see about this one would be that in the next scene after this one in the trailer you see these little midget f*cks get there ss blown back by the second shot, now this is good news which means that the second shot on a zombie using the 31-79 JGb215 seems to have a similar effect as the Thundergun!

Well this is imply heartwarming monkey bombs are back! I love these little guys form the day they were introduced to Zombies back in Der Riese. Now in Ascension they got one-upped by the Gersch Device but hopefully in this one Treyarch upped the radius and effectiveness of monkey bombs for this map. I'm glad to see them make a return very cool.

TRAILER BREAKDOWN

OK well here it is my breakdown of the newest trailer ill be going picture by picture so lets start...

OK here you have Takeo continuing on down the slide. I'm assuming this leads downstairs to under the Temple. Notice though he is shooting his weapon which probably means zombies will be popping out of the side when you go down so you can never let your guard down. This does seem like an effective way to go down but i would prefer the mining cart because that would make sense that it could take out zombies as you got down and conserve ammo.

Here you have Nikolai holding his ground and ripping zombies apart that seem to be coming out of a hole. So this is one of those spots that seems like only zombies can jump up but players have to take a different route so if there are circles to run this seems to be a good holding point, especially with the new wonder weapon.

Well here you have the famous new Wonder Weapon. My theory is that it just shrinks zombies and then kills them, probably 50 points per kill as with every other wonder weapon. It does have a very similar look to the Wunderwaffe DG-2 with the lights on the right side of the gun. That is really all i can come up with but it does look very interesting.

Here you have the apparent fire zombie about to explode. Now here is my theory with these guys, once the moon eclipses the sun then these fire zombies come out, when this happens you have to shoot them and when you shoot then it'll be similar to the NOVA 6 crawlers in FIVE where they blow up and distort your vision so i think these guys explode and then hurt you if your in a certain radius. If you hold out this round long enough and the sun comes back out i think they explode from the sun as seen in this picture because there doesn't seem to be any bullets being fired at this zombie.

Well here is what i believe is the zombie boss and he has a sort of voodoo feel to it. Similar to the feel of the new wonder weapon. Now look at this picture you rarely see a zombie get this close with his arms not hitting you so i think that this guy is similar to the doctor in FIVE where he takes your gun then you must kill him, but this guy might be different when he runs away with the gun i think that he is kinda be switching from invisibility back to normal kind of waving like distorted as he runs so its harder to get him and that has a kind of psychedelic voodoo feel to it. The reason i say invisibility is because it would make sense to kind off off-set the apparent invisibility grenade bubble you can use.

From this i the only thing i can take is that there are just two possibilities of turning on the power there could be significance to this which would be if you turn on one maybe one side of the map opens and you have to buy the rest of the doors to the other side and if you do the other one vise versa. Kind of brings me back to Verruckt where when your separated at the start both sides can reach the power but pending on which way you go could alter the game, so i guess we must choose carefully.



Theories



EDIT: I do now understand that the ppsh may not be in the game but i still have hope i guess i got caught up in the moment when i heard it in the video very naive of me to believe evrything i heard but when i hear about the ppsh i just get really excited haha but hopefully it is back who knows.

OK guys i was watching that video of MrDelekJD and he said that the PPSH is in the game and at first i was liek yeah right same deal with ascension and that didn't work out, BUT i watched the trailer again and when Nikolai is running through the bamboo traps i realized that is a PPSH he is holding without a doubt i took a picture and here it is...

How can i prove it is the PPSH well look at the barrel of the gun that Nikolai is holding it has the same exact shape as the gun in the other picture (PPSH-41) and also it has the holes in the barrel similar to the other one so what does that mean perhaps the ppsh makes a return!

OK well apprently this theory has some "leaked" information about some very cool things (if its true) so watch this video first....



Well hopefully you watched it and if your like my your still a little iffy on this. I mean the flaming zombie being a boss does make sense but when the moon comes zombies spit fire thats a little unbelievable if you ask me, but of course they always get me when they say the PPSH is back in the game if it is i will literally jump for joy so much i f*cking love that gun so much so i can pray that it's in there! So take what you want form this video and post your theories in the comments and ill put them in.


I just thought of this and i think this will be very accurate....
First off take a look at these two pictures...

Now what do these have in common....not much the first one shows Shangri-La OUTSIDE with a temple waterfalls stairs bringing it back to ancient civilizations but then the second one shoes INSIDE what i would imagine to be the temple but normally you expect a burial tomb from looking at this but no look at the second picture, look around you can see a cement mixer (doubt they had that technology in ancient civilizations) also it looks to be under construction almost like whoever was working on this never finished for some reason...perhaps this reason was the zombies. So with that said i would listen closely to what Richtofen says in this map could be a huge discovery in the story maybe this was supposed to be another test area very contained not a lot of people around i would like to refer to StopThePro's post where he said Hitler had a desire for Shangri-La (utopia on earth) so it would make sense that German scientists better known as Group 935 used the temple as a cover for what was really going on inside of it which was never finished and obviously a zombie infestation broke out and im gunna say this was before most of the maps maybe even before Der Riese only because in Call of the Dead the original four characters were progressing in time from kino der toten to FIVE and now when they were teleported to "Paradise" really its going back in time to when Group 935 first started their work.


Here's another theory on how to get to the power
first off since it has been confirmed that there are two power switches in what seems to be in the temple (at least according to my theories) i think that to get to the power you have to use the water slide or open up every door because if you can get down there theres has to be way up other than the cart wagon so im thinking its either just the slide or stairs to get down to the power.



For the monkeys my thought is that the power-up they hold changes as they run and once you kill them it gets dropped and goes from red to green where you can pick it up. I'm pretty sure it doesn't just change when the monkey goes to a dead monkey because in that part of the trailer it goes from nuke ---> carpenter ---> double points so i think it is just as they run it changes.


Personally I think that the map will consist of many different levels of elevation. I think that there will be at least two ways into the temple or under it which both may be confirmed by the Preview Trailer one of which is Dr.Richtofen Riding a mine cart going down.

And also you may be able to slide down a tunnel into the temple similar to the ice slide in Call of the Dead heres the picture of Takeo taking the slide down

It was also mentioned in the Preview Trailer that there will be new weapons so maybe the Ak47 finally made the cut or perhaps since the original crew is in this and they are now in Paradise the wunderwaffe might be an obtainable weapon because the reward for sending the crew to Paradise was a wunderwaffe I think it will make a comeback sooner than later.

Other than that im expecting a very impressive map similar to Shi No Numa big but ridiculous big and a lot of spots to hold for a couple rounds.


As for monkeys I think that every 5/6/7 rounds pending on when you turn the power on you will know when the monkeys come when the sun gets eclipsed by a moon. Apparently monkeys run around with power-ups that change as they go. I do believe there will be a boss either the Cosmic Silverback or this particular zombie

I would be sticking more with the cosmic silverback then anything because there are monkeys first off and cosmic is usually a word associated with the moon so when the sun is eclipsed then it would make sense thats when the Cosmic Silverback would come. also take a look at this picture and look kind of in the middle at the shooting start. what could it be perhaps similar to the monkey rockets similar to ascension going through the sky for monkeys.

In my opinion, in the annihilation trailer, right after that one weird blue zombie at the end then it shows the guys with a ketchup and mustard bottle,(sorry dont have pics)
it has to do something that he probably hits you then it blinds you like a flashbang then you have to kill it.

To me, I think these are good theories

All you do is buy it and you get one of the wonder weapons from the other zombie maps, like scavenger, vr-11, thunder gun, gersch device, wonderwaffe, winter howl, etc. Now this would be so freaking awesome cuz then you wouldn't have to r@pe the box hoping to get a wonder weapon.
If this wonder weapon machine is going to be in the map then I would imagine that it would be extremely difficult to get to and fairly costly to buy. Also there could be a twist to this machine as well. If you buy it then there could be a chance that you wouldn't receive one of the wonder weapons but instead it would just take your money and that's it.




Map History *Theory* TTG_ReJeXx Credited

*Easter Egg Theories*

Well hopefully Treyarch can somehow top the Easter Egg from Call of the Dead. When i say that i really mean more steps keep it ineresting and of course another wunderwaffe dg-2 would be nice. but one theory that i have about the easter egg is that i think it will include the golden rod in some way shape or form maybe when the original characters were teleported it was lost on Shangri-La and you have to find but that wouldn't make much sense because you had to find it last level so maybe its already in something and it just has to be activated along something else. I have a feeling this will be a good easter egg so post your theories about the easter egg on Shangri-La and ill quote it in this section.



NEW PERK?

Well i was scanning the internet to bring you guys some new information and this picture was brought to my attention...

Now you may be thinking just another screenshot but if you look at the center of the bridge in the background then follow it up to the left you will notice a kind of square thing perhaps a new perk? the reason i'd say it is a perk not a door is because on top of it is a circle similar to that on top of juggernaut but this "machine" is wider than juggernaut and it has no green tint to it like Speed Cola. so im thinking a new perk who knows could be the Wonder Weapon machine which would be awesome!



Other Information

Well for right now multiple things have been confirmed

- According to our good pal Jimmy Zeilinski the Zombies Director he claims there will be new weapons so im expecting some new weapons and hopefully the re-appearance of the scavenger.
- Also this map contains Female zombies as confirmed in the video (could be interestingI guess)
- It hasn't been confirmed but as of now it is assumed the perks to return will be all 7 from Call of the Dead and perhaps some speculation of a new one




Pack-a-Punch

Well the Pack-a-Punch machine has been confirmed to make a return according from this picture (look towards the center tomb)

So with this it almost looks like you have to do something to open the PaP machine or maybe its like Call of the Dead where you just wait x amount of time fir it to open cause to me it looks to be in almost like a trap door for a tomb like in the beginning it will be a wall then after the set amount of time the wall will turn around and it will be there almost like the secret bookcase in the movies where if you pull the right book it turns like that seems fitting for a tomb/temple. I can also be sure that the PaP machine will remain in that one spot because there is no orange yellow light shining on it like in Call of the Dead where the PaP moves around.

WONDER WEAPONS[color]

[color=darkred]SCAVENGER PaP "Hyena Infra-dead"
Personally i think that this is probably one of the best weapons in the game you can get. It does very well on ammo and the power in just one round is unbleivable. If your like me and run laps anywhere you can find them this gun is a must have for you to succeed. While running laps form rounds like 1-12 if you have a massive horde of zombies following you one shot form the Scavenger (not PaP'd) will wipe out just about everybody in that horde. And money is not an issue with this because its like a Gersch device where each kill = 50 points so you will have enough money to PaP in about 3 or 4 rounds with this. Now ive never been to any round above 28 on Call of the Dead but from rounds 15+ this gun PaP with a solid second weapon such as HK-21 is the ideal combo. V-R11
OK at first i thought this gun was terrible but after a few extra posts in this topic by some generous members it has been brought to my attention that this gun can be extremely useful for many things...When you shoot a teamate with this gun not PaP they become invincible for about 15 seconds so if your thinking whats the big deal think about it like this...Your on top of the lighthouse and you and your other 3 players are almost out of ammo you got one shot with the VR11 left you shoot your teamate and then now he tears through the zombies with his little bit of ammo left on round 22 and thanks to you your now living on another round. Now this gun PaP'd according to members is very good. Along with invincibility you get 30 seconds insta-kill so it is worth it to take this guna out of the box and to save up for a PaP.

Wunderwaffe DG-2
OK well this review is based on only the 5 times i got it in Call of the Dead and also based on previous W@W maps. The wunderwaffe is probably one of the best weapons in this game i would have to rate it a tiny bit lower than the Scavenger for one reason only and that is that the Wunderwaffe is alot easier to kill yourself with which sucks when you have it. Other than that this gun has everything you need to succeed in a zombie game it takes out a HUGE amount of zombies wiht one shot and when PaP'd you can't lose.Ammo wise its hard to grade so ill give it a 8/10 only because you have it till you run out of ammo but also max ammos refill it so i think an 8 is fair. Each zombie killed with this you get a good amount of points which also adds to the plus for this wepaon. check these vids then check my grades.

CZ75 = Calamity- Increased damage, becomes full automatic, each mag holds an extra 5 rounds.

CZ75 Dual Wield = Calamity & Jane- Increased damage, both fire full-auto, both have 20 round mags, 0.5x more spare ammo.

FN FAL = EPC WN- Gets a custom red dot sight, increased damage, fires in 3-round bursts, each mag holds 1.5x more ammo, double spare ammo.

G11 = G115 Generator- Increased damage, fully automatic, scope has no sway any more.

Shotguns

Olympia = Hades- Higher Power, Longer Range, Incendiary Rounds.

SPAZ-12 = SPAZ-24- Increased damage, increased rate of fire, faster reload speed (the reload animation loads all 24 shells by only putting in one), holds 3x as many shells, holds 3x more spare ammo.

HS10 = Typhoid & Mary- Increased damage, becomes dual HS-10s, both reload faster, each holds a couple more rounds than the regular HS-10 and spare ammo becomes a little more than doubled.

Stakeout = Raid- Bigger Magazine, Reloads 2 Shells at a time, Longer Range, Higher Damage with grip.

Sniper Rifles

Dragunov = D115 Disassembler- Increased damage, scope now has variable zoom.

L96A1 = L115 Isolator- Increased damage, scope now has variable zoom.

Launchers

China Lake = China Beach- Increased damage, faster reload speed (the reload animation only requires reloading one grenade and 5 will be loaded), holds 5 rounds, double spare ammo.

M72 LAW = M72 Anarchy- Increased damage, now holds 10 rockets at once firing semi-auto with 2x spare ammo.

Special Weapons

Winters Howl = Winters Fury- Bigger Magazine, Longer Freeze Time, Increased damage.

Ray Gun = Porters X2 Ray Gun- Damage doubled, Spare ammo increased, Magazine capacity doubled.

Thundergun = Zeus Cannon- Doubled Magazine, Can Kill More Zombies with One Shot.

Ballistic Knife = The Krause Refibrillator- Increased damage, now holds 9 spare blades, shooting a downed ally with it will revive them (instant revival upon being hit).

Scavenger - New Explosive Sniper This new explosive sniper rifle is called the Scavenger. It shoots rockets and is bolt action. When upgraded, it is renamed the Hyena Infra-dead.

V-R11 - A.K.A. "Wonder Weapon" or "Humangun" This mystery weapon, known as the V-R11 cures zombies and turn them into humans. The other zombies will then kill these cured zombies. When Pack-a-Punched, it is renamed to the V-R11 Lazarus. The V-R11 has Siberian camo and the number 87 written on its side.

Wunderwaffe DG-2 The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is obtained by completing the Original Characters Trapped Easter Egg. You cannot Pack-a-Punch it and you will lose it once you run out of ammo. You can get a max ammo for it however

Crossbow = Awful Lawton- Increased damage, now the rounds fired will attract zombies (just like Monkeys, though these explosive bolts explode a little sooner).

I'll post a theory of what may also be in the map.
Now my theory is that there could be a wonder weapon machine in this map. All you do is buy it and you get one of the wonder weapons from the other zombie maps, like scavenger, vr-11, thunder gun, gersch device, wonderwaffe, winter howl, etc. Now this would be so freaking awesome cuz then you wouldn't have to r@pe the box hoping to get a wonder weapon.
If this wonder weapon machine is going to be in the map then I would imagine that it would be extremely difficult to get to and fairly costly to buy. Also there could be a twist to this machine as well. If you buy it then there could be a chance that you wouldn't receive one of the wonder weapons but instead it would just take your money and that's it.
