The game itself, by major companys, got bad reviews. i myself didn't want to listen to them but i did not however buy the game. i took the choice and waiting for the demo to come out and then played the online demo. i've been playing it for a little and i enjoy it so far(;

i thought it was going to be sick but it was a letdown tbh..

ugh.. i played the multiplayer last night and i threw up in my mouth a little. it was the worst of battlefield and medal of honor put together. i like the 32 player concept but the map was so big it seemed like 6vs6 except with the lag of 40. horrible game. but its just my opinion.

just downloaded the demo yesterday but didnt enjoy that much
it seems like the mix between CoD and BF just doesnt work for me

this game has gotten a lot better with the better servers

Homefront is a fun game to play when you get bored with average shooter, such as CoD or Battlefield. Both of which are great, don't get me wrong, but get monotonous after awhile. The campaign is interesting and original, and the multiplayer is fun, escpecialy if you have a friend to work with. The unlocks are interesting, you must get kill streaks to unlock skins/camos for your wepons. 10 killstreaks being the highest you can unlock, except for the special skins/camos which you unlock at the Higher ranks starting at around 50. Overall Homefront is atemporary, and enjoyable break from those mainstream games that become boring after hours of play.

Yea the campaign was too short but the story was decent. As for multiplayer a lot of people do just snipe but it's really easy to sneak up on them and knife like five in a row. I used to use this technique to get a tank then just own even more for the rest of the game.

As for people saying it's laggy I don't agree. When the game first came out it suffered a lot of online problems because they wasn't expecting it to sell as well as it did so they wasn't ready, but they fixed most problems. If it's lagging for you then it's probably your connection that's to blame because I never noticed any unplayable lag, nothing like the lag in oh say COD/Fifa/Pro-Evo/BF2.
