Okay guys, I just bought a Brand new router from Radioshack for almost $100. But I am having issues w/ it, I have hooked it up exactly as it has told me to, & i have tried/re-done it multiple times, but when i get into the setup process, this is when i have issues w/ it.
Every time it says that I have a Static (fixed) i.p. address, & it wants me to enter all of my info which i do not have & it won't let me connect to the internet, one of the troubleshooting things was something about a MAC address, so I am currently hooked up on my old router which does not require the modem.
My Internet Details:

Try editing the system, See if different options work, Mainly check if the modern is correctly inserted with the correct cables, Old cables normally cause damage/trouble to new moderns if not placed correctly.
