you say you offer a warranty correct? well if a customers console was to fail within the warranty period, what would you do to repair it?

I use a heatgun method(which has variable heat settings) that has never failed over the last 3 years. I protect the full board from the excess heat, i use liquid flux and high grade thermal compound (artic silver 5) ....im soon upgrading to better equipment so no need to leave a troll comment back..

not trolling simply pointing out the facts. it doesnt matter how you use the heat gun it's still doing more damage than good, it's meant to be used for stripping paint, not electronic repairs, if you don't have a repair station then simply put you can't offer warranty's so therefore shouldnt be selling jtag's, come back when you have the right equipment eh? all ill say to people considering buying is that youre getting exactly what you pay for

I back -TANK- Just don't bother with a Heatgun its unprofessional and unreliable no matter what you say..
A heatgun is the reason my Xenon is FUBAR -.-" Either get a professional BGA reflow station or similar or Cancel your Reflow service. and As TANK said Heatguns are for stripping paint not reflowing electronics...

The fact is you are wrong...the heatgun does not do more damage, link me to this concrete evidence? I agree it can do more damage if used by an inexperienced person...you telling me i shouldnt sell jtags? people are just gonna laff you outta here kid..

take a look through all the search engines and you will find out for yourself what damage a heatgun can do, the only person that will laugh me out of here is DarkDagger and that's would be for 2 reasons
1. it's either youre second account because half of the comments on this thread are from him constantly bumping it
2. you dropped the soap in the shower and it's all bloomed from there
calling me a KID will not get you anywhere and only makes you feel bigger than you actually are so come back when your old enough to buy a lottery ticket because that will be your only source of income and no longer this shop now that you have exposed your little secret, im not going to justify this thread with another response because it simply doesnt deserve it.

Still sell JTAGS im assuming -TANK- ment that if you are using a heatgun to reflow then you are inexperianced in what you are doing and shouldn't be soldering wires and electronics..

Heres why you should not use a heatgun...

-Its not ment for reflowing its to strip paint and melt plastic covers.

- You cannot control the ammount of heat and distance from the motherboard and components in a controlled fashion and procedure.

- The Heatgun will/can warp the motherboard and result in shorts, components being fried etc etc...

- You cannot pre-heat with a heatgun, pre-heating allows the motherboard not to be exposed to a sudden wave of heat and lets the board flex slowly to help the procedure.

- With a BGA Rework/Reflow Station you can control the distance and heat measures accurately and efficiently, they are built to reflow and reball so they are the best for the job!

I could keep going...

What secret are you referring to? you sound mad for some reason? i think you need to calm down and as for making myself feel big, your just childish and make this site look bad acting like a child so if you wouldnt mind getting on with your own business and stop meddaling with mine i would appreciate it....

if you have any further problems you would like to discuss with me about MY shop then i would like to ask you to come speak with me on AIM, thanks

Don't know what this flaming is about, isn't it his choice what equipment he uses and then if something goes wrong he can sort it out,

Also I never knew I shared a account with monoxide... You can check if you want ;)
