sometimes they delete and keygens are dangerous trojans if you have them for to long thats why its NOT a good idea to download them because antivirus like AVG does NOT pick up that it has a trojan so if you going to download a keygen i recomend downloading malware bytes anti malware to keep your pc or laptop safe.

It doesn't get rid of them fully, its safer to remove it via virus scanner.

Keygens aren't viruses but they may appear to be.. depends where you DL them from.

Depends, Make sure you go into program files and see if its got any folders, if it has just delete them if it wont let you go into task manager and see if its running anything then just end the process and delete the folders and empty it in the recycling bin. That should get rid of it and I don't know if keygens are viruses or not depends what it is

No... i just reset my computer to factory settings and decided to put a new Virus protecter on it... and it picked up a trojan for a keygen... but dont most keygens have trojans in?

Sometimes Virus scanners pick up things as Trojans because they contain modifying files and Virus scanners detect this as a Trojan but if its a keygen then its probably not a Trojan
