why are they giving you dirt about using a heatgun?

heatgun is not much different besides a hotair rework wand, besides the controlable temp but if he is using a tempgauge he is safe to reflow a board.

heatgun ftw, obviously i dont suggest it but in most cases it gets the job done.

Wrong...Wrong...Wrong It's much more than controlled air...

Would you use a butter knife to cut into your steak? I mean it would get the job done but it would be "rough" ;)

If i was stranded on a deserted island, with only a steak and a butter knife then i would have to say, YES

maybe monoxide is on that desert island?

I still got <3 for monoxide's british cheeks

if he gets buisness or not reflowing consoles, atleast his customers know what he is using and can decide for themselves if they want him to take a wagner to there xbox360 right?

I didn't actually buy anything from this awesome guy, but he helped me through all my problems with my broken jtag! Many sellers would not help me, because they would be losing a customer, but not this one!
Thanked and +repped,
