A lot of ignorant answers posted above.

Everyone has a six pack, regardless of how "fat" they may be.
Your abdomen being covered in fat could take a month, or more. But
your dieting is a must, as well as high cardio, doing "push-ups"
is NOT going to do anything. Squats, and Dead-lifts are best as
they're FULL body exercises. If you're fat (20%BF or higher) it
might take longer than a month as your body will only drop water
weight/retention at the beginning, so continue to eat healthy and
it shouldn't be a problem. Go online and look at dieting tips.

Besides that, good-luck!

every single person already has a six pack imo but it doesn't show you need to be defined and built for it to look like the ones you see on tv or ads

Its not just press-ups that gets you abs. You need to do running or some sport to burn the fat so that your abs can come through. Doing 1000 pres-ups would only increase the chance of you getting one if you did adrenaline exercise to get rid of the layer of fat that is hiding your muscle.

DeluxeModz wrote yer what if you do 1000 press ups

Press ups? Since when did working your arms get you a six pack?
Sit ups is what your looking for, and a lot of then. Buy yourself one of those stomach crunch mats. They work amazingly.
